Description:
The Bircher FutureSense is an intelligent activation sensor for automatic swing and revolving doors. The compact, multidimensional FMCW radar sensor detects human behaviour such as approach, direction and speed, and only triggers the door to open when there is an actual intention to enter. This prevents unnecessary openings and significantly increases energy efficiency. Thanks to 60 GHz FMCW radar technology with advanced object tracking, FutureSense offers precise detection and reliable cross-traffic suppression. Random or irrelevant movements are ignored, which optimises door operation and extends the service life of the door. Installation and setup are conveniently carried out via the FutureSense app. Parameters such as door type, door size, mounting position, detection range and restricted areas can be intuitively set and visualised in real time. The compact, modern design blends discreetly into contemporary door and building concepts.
